I am a mom of four children each with unique birth stories and various experiences. My ultimate opinion or advise is "Trust your Intuition" and "Informed Consent" often regardless of whom your provider is and their level of experience in their field  expertise, confidence, prestige, popularity and or opinions. As the mother of your child it is key to always trust your internal guidance system, trust your gut and trust your instincts. This trust, faith, hope, intuition will always be on point.

Often it is confusing to make informed choices when hormones, emotions, pain becomes the fore front of your perinatal and  postnatal experience. I have found it wise to gather loads of referrals and have support handy for various different potential obstacles. For example I highly appreciate recommend practitioners of chiropractic, acupuncture, psychotherapy, PT, hypnosis, cupping, massage, reiki, doula, pelvic floor PT, Lactation support, CNM and LM's. Having a load of referrals is very important with each unique perspective  to get through your prenatal and postnatal journey. 

Never feel ashamed of prenatal anxiety and  postpartum depression, please always reach out for support and referrals. The main reason I chose to become maternity Acupuncturist was because of the deep level of support that is needed during pregnancy and postnatal process. Acupuncture can support a wide variety of concerns such as anxiety, back pain, depression, fertility, headaches, labor preparation, labor support, morning sickness, pain, sciatica, prenatal and postnatal depression and much much more. I am so grateful for the opportunity and  challenges of becoming a mother and all the life experience that has brought so much fulfillment, charactor, perspective and love to my life.

Every single human birth experience is so vastly unique to every single birth. With so many variables both internally, externally that shape birth outcomes and overall birthing experience. ​Simply said I love being a mom, I can also relate to all the stressors that come from being a mom, vast variety of concerns and need for support.
